Program
The 633. WE-Heraeus Seminar will start with a dinner in the evening of January 3, 2017. The scientific progam then extends over three days (January 4-6, 2016), with departure scheduled after lunch on January 6. There will be 14 invited talks and 4 contributed talks. The contributed talks will be selected from the submitted poster abstracts.
In addition to the talks, 2 evening poster sessions are scheduled. Every poster will be presented during an "impulse talk" (see below). There will be a best poster prize as well as a best impulse presentation prize.

Information for contributors
Talks
Invited talks will be 35 min + 10 min questions. From all submitted poster abstracts, the committee will select 4 contributed talks. The contributed talks will be 25 min + 5 min questions. Please bring your own notebook computer, necessary adapters to connect it to a VGA cable and a backup of your talk on a USB thumbdrive. There is also the possibility to use the conference site computer and your USB thumbdrive. In such a case, please contact the organizers well before your talk in order to check the compatibility with our hardware.
Poster Presentations
The poster format is limited to max. 150 cm (height) x 100 cm (width). The dimensions should correspond to portrait DIN A0 format. NOTE: Every poster contribution will be presented in an "impulse talk" (2 min). Please prepare a single .ppt slide and send it to mathias.weiler@wmi.badw.de by December 22nd, 2016.
